And as soon as the lad was gone, David arose out of [a place] toward the South, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself three times: and they kissed one another, and wept one with another, until David exceeded.

[And] as soon as the ladª was gone,ª° Davidª aroseª° out of [a place] towardª¹ the south,ª and fellª° on his faceª to the ground,ª and bowed²° himself¹ threeª times:ª and they kissedª° oneª¹ another,ª and weptª° oneª with¹ another,ª until¹ Davidª exceeded.ª°

And assoone as the laddeª was gone,ª° Dauidª aroseª° out of [a place] towardª¹ the South,ª and fellª° on his faceª to the ground,ª and bowed²° himselfe¹ threeª times:ª and they kissedª° oneª¹ another,ª and weptª° oneª with¹ another,ª vntill¹ Dauidª exceeded.ª°

And when the lad went in, then David arose from the argab, and fell upon his face, and did obeisance to him three times, and they kissed each other, and wept for each other, for a great while.
