And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, forasmuch as we have sworn both of us in the name of Jehovah, saying, Jehovah shall be between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed, for ever. And he arose and departed: and Jonathan went into the city.

And Jonathanª saidª° to David,ª Go²°¹ in peace,ª forasmuch as¹ we have swornª° bothª of us¹ in the nameª of the LORD,ª saying,ª° The LORDª be¹ between¹ me and thee, and between¹ my seedª and thy seedª for² ever.ª¹ And he aroseª° and departed:²°¹ and Jonathanª wentª° into the city.ª

And Ionathanª saidª° to Dauid,ª Goe²°¹ in peace,ª forasmuch as¹ wee haue sworneª° bothª of vs¹ in the Nameª of the LORD,ª saying;ª° The LORDª be¹ betweene¹ me and thee, and betweene¹ my seedeª and thy seedeª for² euer.ª¹ And hee arose,ª° and departed:²°¹ and Ionathanª wentª° into the citie.ª

And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, and as we have both sworn in the name of the Lord, saying, The Lord shall be witness between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed for ever-- [even so let it be]. And David arose and departed, and Jonathan went into the city.
