that this shall be no grief unto thee, nor offence of heart unto my lord, either that thou hast shed blood without cause, or that my lord hath avenged himself. And when Jehovah shall have dealt well with my lord, then remember thy handmaid.

That this¹ shall be¹ no¹ griefª unto thee, nor offenceª of heartª unto my lord,ª either that thou hast shedª° bloodª causeless,ª or that my lordª hath avengedª° himself: but when the LORDª shall have dealt wellª° with my lord,ª then rememberª°¹ thine handmaid.ª

That this¹ shall bee¹ no¹ griefeª vnto thee, nor offenceª of heartª vnto my lord,ª either that thou hast shedª° bloodª causelesse,ª or that my lordª hath auengedª° himselfe: But when the LORDª shall haue dealt wellª° with my lord,ª then rememberª°¹ thine handmayd.ª

then this shall not be an abomination and offence to my lord, to have shed innocent blood without cause, and for my lord to have avenged himself: and so may the Lord do good to my lord, and thou shalt remember thine handmaid to do her good.
