So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul's head; and they gat them away: and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither did any awake; for they were all asleep, because a deep sleep from Jehovah was fallen upon them.

So Davidª tookª°¹ the spearª and the cruseª of waterª from Saul'sª bolster;²¹ and they gat them away,²°¹ and no¹ man sawª° [it], nor¹ knewª° [it], neither¹ awaked:ª° for¹ they [were] all¹ asleep;ª because¹ a deep sleepª from the LORDª was fallenª° upon¹ them.
