And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.

And Achishª answeredª° and saidª° to¹ David,ª I knowª° that¹ thou¹ [art] goodª in my sight,ª as an angelª of God:ª notwithstanding¹ the princesª of the Philistinesª have said,ª° He shall not¹ go upª° with¹ us to the battle.ª

And Achishª answered,ª° and saidª° to¹ Dauid,ª I knowª° that¹ thou¹ [art] goodª in my sight,ª as an Angelª of God:ª notwithstanding¹ the Princesª of the Philistinesª haue said,ª° Hee shall not¹ goe vpª° with¹ vs to the battell.ª

And Achish{gr.Anchus} answered David, I know that thou [art] good in my eyes, but the lords of the Philistines say, He shall not come with us to the war.

And ´Äȼîš אָכִישׁª answeredª° and saidª° to¹ Däwiđ דָּוִד,ª I knowª° that¹ thou¹ [art] goodª in my sight,ª as an angelª of ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים:ª notwithstanding¹ the princesª of the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּיםª have said,ª° He shall not¹ go upª° with¹ us to the battle.ª
