And thou didst establish to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever; and thou, Jehovah, becamest their God.

For thou hast confirmedª° to thyself¹ thy peopleª Israelª [to be] a peopleª unto thee for² ever:ª¹ and thou,¹ LORD,ª art becomeª° their God.ª
