Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel; and he came into the house of Jehovah, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat.

Then Däwiđ דָּוִדª aroseª° from the earth,ª¹ and washed,ª° and anointedª° [himself], and changedª° his apparel,ª and cameª° into the houseª of Yähwè יָהוֶה,ª and worshipped:ª° then he cameª° to¹ his own house;ª and when he required,ª° they setª° breadª before him, and he did eat.ª°
