And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he was offering the sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.

And Absalom{gr.Abessalom} sent to Ahithophel{gr.Achitophel} the Theconite, the counsellor of David, from his city, from Gola, where he was sacrificing: and there was a strong conspiracy; and the people with Absalom{gr.Abessalom} were increasingly numerous.
