And it came to pass, that, when David was come to the top [of the ascent], where God was worshipped, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head.

And it came to pass,¹ that [when] Davidª was comeª° to¹ the topª [of the mount], where¹ he worshippedª° God,ª behold,¹ Hushaiª the Architeª came to meetª° him with his coatª rent,ª° and earthª upon¹ his head:ª

And it came to passe,¹ that [when] Dauidª was comeª° to¹ the topª [of the mount], where¹ he worshippedª° God,ª behold,¹ Hushaiª the Architeª came to meetª° him, with his coatª rent,ª° and earthª vpon¹ his head:ª

And David came as far as Ros, where he worshipped God: and behold, Hushai{gr.Chusi} the chief friend of David came out to meet him, having rent his garment, and earth [was] upon his head.

And it came to pass,¹ that [when] Däwiđ דָּוִדª was comeª° to¹ the topª [of the mount], where¹ he worshippedª° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,ª behold,¹ Çûšay חוּשַׁיª the ´Arcî אַרכִּיª came to meetª° him with his coatª rent,ª° and earthª upon¹ his head:ª
