And Baasha the son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, conspired against him; and Baasha smote him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines; for Nadab and all Israel were laying siege to Gibbethon.

And Baashaª the sonª of Ahijah,ª of the houseª of Issachar,ª conspiredª° against¹ him; and Baashaª smoteª° him at Gibbethon,ª which¹ [belonged] to the Philistines;ª for Nadabª and all¹ Israelª laid siegeª° to¹ Gibbethon.ª

And Baasha{gr.Baasa} son of Ahijah{gr.Achia}, [who was] over the house of Belaan son of Ahijah{gr.Achia}, conspired against him, and smote him in Gabathon of the Philistines; for Nebat{gr.Nabat} and all Israel were besieging Gabathon.

And Ba`šä´ בַּעשָׁאª the sonª of ´Áçiyyà אֲחִיָּה,ª of the houseª of Yiŝŝäjȼär יִשָּׂשכָר,ª conspiredª° against¹ him; and Ba`šä´ בַּעשָׁאª smoteª° him at Gibbæŧôn גִּבְּתוֹן,ª which¹ [belonged] to the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים;ª for Näđäv נָדָבª and all¹ Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלª laid siegeª° to¹ Gibbæŧôn גִּבְּתוֹן.ª
