And the servants of the king of Syria said unto him, Their god is a god of the hills; therefore they were stronger than we: but let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they.

And the servantsª of the kingª of Syriaª saidª° unto¹ him, Their godsª [are] godsª of the hills;ª therefore¹¹ they were strongerª° than¹ we; butª let us fightª° against¹ them in the plain,ª and surely²¹ we shall be strongerª°¹ than¹ they.

And the seruantsª of the Kingª of Syriaª saidª° vnto¹ him, Their godsª [are] godsª of the hilles,ª therefore¹¹ they were strongerª° then¹ wee: butª let vs fightª° against¹ them in the plaine,ª and surely²¹ we shall be strongerª°¹ then¹ they.

And the servants of the king of Syria, even they said, The God of Israel [is] a God of mountains, and not a God of valleys; therefore has he prevailed against us: but if we should fight against them in the plain, verily we shall prevail against them.

And the servantsª of the kingª of ´Áräm אֲרָםª saidª° unto¹ him, Their ´élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª [are] ´élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª of the hills;ª therefore¹¹ they were strongerª° than¹ we; butª let us fightª° against¹ them in the plain,ª and surely²¹ we shall be strongerª°¹ than¹ they.
