And they encamped one over against the other seven days. And so it was, that in the seventh day the battle was joined; and the children of Israel slew of the Syrians a hundred thousand footmen in one day.

And they pitchedª° oneª over againstª the otherª sevenª days.ª And [so] it was,¹ that in the seventhª dayª the battleª was joined:ª° and the childrenª of Israelª slewª° of¹ the Syriansª an hundredª thousandª footmenª in oneª day.ª
