And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, there is yet one man by whom we may inquire of Jehovah, Micaiah the son of Imlah: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

And the kingª of Israelª saidª° unto¹ Jehoshaphat,ª [There is] yet¹ oneª man,ª Micaiahª the sonª of Imlah,ª by¹¹ whom we may enquireª° of¹ the LORD:ª but I¹ hateª° him; for¹ he doth not¹ prophesyª° goodª concerning¹ me, but¹¹ evil.ª And Jehoshaphatª said,ª° Let not¹ the kingª sayª° so.¹

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat{gr.Josaphat}, There is one man here [for us] to enquire of the Lord by; but I hate him, for he does not speak good of me, but only evil; Micah{gr.Michaias} son of Jemblaa. And Jehoshaphat{gr.Josaphat} king of Judah{gr.Juda} said, Let not the king say so.

And the kingª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלª saidª° unto¹ Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט,ª [There is] yet¹ oneª man,ª Mîȼäyhû מִיכָיהוּª the sonª of Yimlà יִמלָה,ª by¹¹ whom we may enquireª° of¹ Yähwè יָהוֶה:ª but I¹ hateª° him; for¹ he doth not¹ prophesyª° goodª concerning¹ me, but¹¹ evil.ª And Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָטª said,ª° Let not¹ the kingª sayª° so.¹
