And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho.

And Elijahª saidª° unto him, Elisha,ª tarryª° here,¹ I pray thee;¹ for¹ the LORDª hath sentª° me to Jericho.ª And he said,ª° [As] the LORDª liveth,ª and [as] thy soulª liveth,ª I will not¹ leaveª° thee. So they cameª° to Jericho.ª

And Elijahª saidª° vnto him, Elisha,ª tarieª° here,¹ I pray thee:¹ for¹ the LORDª hath sentª° me to Iericho:ª And hee said,ª° As the LORDª liueth,ª and as thy souleª liueth,ª I will not¹ leaueª° thee. So they cameª° to Iericho.ª

And Elijah{gr.Eliu} said to Elisha{gr.Elisaie}, Stay here, I pray thee; for the Lord has sent me to Jericho. And he said, [As] the Lord lives and thy soul lives, I will not leave thee. And they came to Jericho.

And ´Ëliyyà אֵלִיָּהª saidª° unto him, ´Élîšä` אֱלִישָׁע,ª tarryª° here,¹ I pray thee;¹ for¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª hath sentª° me to Yærîçô יְרִיחוֹ.ª And he said,ª° [As] Yähwè יָהוֶהª liveth,ª and [as] thy soulª liveth,ª I will not¹ leaveª° thee. So they cameª° to Yærîçô יְרִיחוֹ.ª
