And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trod down the thistle.

And Joash{gr.Joas} the king of Israel sent to Amaziah{gr.Amessias} king of Judah{gr.Juda}, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon{gr.Libanus} sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon{gr.Libanus}, saying, Give my daughter to thy son to wife: and the wild beasts of the field that were in Lebanon{gr.Libanus} passed by and trod down the thistle.

And Yæhô´äš יְהוֹאָשׁª the kingª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלª sentª° to¹ ´Ámaxyà אֲמַציָהª kingª of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה,ª saying,ª° The thistleª that¹ [was] in Lævänôn לְבָנוֹןª sentª° to¹ the cedarª that¹ [was] in Lævänôn לְבָנוֹן,ª saying,ª° Giveª°¹ thy daughterª to my sonª to wife:ª and there passed²° by¹ a wildª beastª that¹ [was] in Lævänôn לְבָנוֹן,ª and trode downª°¹ the thistle.ª
