Now therefore, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only thy children take heed to their way, to walk in my law as thou hast walked before me.

Now¹ therefore, O LORDª Godª of Israel,ª keepª° with thy servantª Davidª my fatherª¹ that which¹ thou hast promisedª° him, saying,ª° There shall not¹ failª° thee a manª in my sightª¹ to sitª° upon¹ the throneª of Israel;ª yet soª that thy childrenª take heedª°¹ to their wayª to walk²°¹ in my law,ª as¹ thou hast walkedª° beforeª me.

Now¹ therefore, O LORDª Godª of Israel,ª keepeª° with thy seruantª Dauidª my father,ª¹ that which¹ thou hast promisedª° him, saying,ª° There shall not¹ faileª° thee a manª in my sight,ª¹ to sitª° vpon¹ the throneª of Israel:ª yet so,ª that thy childrenª take heedeª°¹ to their way,ª to walke²°¹ in my Law,ª as¹ thou hast walkedª° beforeª me.

And now, Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father the things which thou spokest to him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man before me sitting on the throne of Israel, if only thy sons will take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou didst walk before me.
