But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up, so that he did corruptly, and he trespassed against Jehovah his God; for he went into the temple of Jehovah to burn incense upon the altar of incense.

But when he was strong,²¹ his heartª was lifted upª° to¹ [his] destruction:ª° for he transgressedª° against the LORDª his God,ª and wentª° into¹ the templeª of the LORDª to burn incenseª° upon¹ the altarª of incense.ª
