Then came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the foundations of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not completed.

Thenª cameª° the sameª Sheshbazzar,ª [and] laidª° the foundationª of¹ the houseª of Godª which¹ [is] in Jerusalem:ª and sinceª that timeª even untilª nowª hath it been in building,ª° and [yet] it is notª finished.ª°

Then that Sabanazar came, and laid the foundations of the house of God in Jerusalem: and from that time even until now it has been building, and has not been finished.

Thenª cameª° the sameª Šëšbaxxar שֵׁשׁבַּצַּר,ª [and] laidª° the foundationª of¹ the houseª of ´Éläh אֱלָהª which¹ [is] in Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם:ª and sinceª that timeª even untilª nowª hath it been in building,ª° and [yet] it is notª finished.ª°
