And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from [those of] every people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it is not for the king's profit to suffer them.

And Hamanª saidª° unto kingª Ahasuerus,ª There isª a certainª peopleª scattered abroadª° and dispersedª° among¹ the peopleª in all¹ the provincesª of thy kingdom;ª and their lawsª [are] diverseª° from all¹¹ people;ª neither¹ keepª° they the king'sª laws:ª therefore it [is] not¹ for the king'sª profitª° to suffer²°¹ them.

And he spoke to king Artaxerxes, saying, There is a nation scattered among the nations in all thy kingdom, and their laws differ from [those of] all the [other] nations; and they disobey the laws of the king; and it is not expedient for the king to let them alone.

And Hämän הָמָןª saidª° unto kingª ´Áçašwërôš אֲחַשׁוֵרוֹשׁ,ª There isª a certainª peopleª scattered abroadª° and dispersedª° among¹ the peopleª in all¹ the provincesª of thy kingdom;ª and their lawsª [are] diverseª° from all¹¹ people;ª neither¹ keepª° they the king'sª laws:ª therefore it [is] not¹ for the king'sª profitª° to suffer²°¹ them.
