Then took Haman the apparel and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and caused him to ride through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, Thus shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honor.

Then tookª° Hamanª¹ the apparelª and the horse,ª and arrayedª°¹ Mordecai,ª and brought him on horsebackª° through the streetª of the city,ª and proclaimedª° beforeª him, Thus¹ shall it be doneª° unto the manª whom¹ the kingª delightethª° to honour.ª

So Haman{gr.Aman} took the robe and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai{gr.Mardochaeus}, and mounted him on the horse, and went through the street of the city, and proclaimed, saying, Thus shall it be to every man whom the king wishes to honour.
