Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me because of their trouble.

Therefore prayª° not¹ thou¹ for¹ this¹ people,ª neither¹ lift upª° a cryª or prayerª for¹ them: for¹ I¹ will not¹ hearª° [them] in the timeª that they cryª° unto¹ me for¹ their trouble.ª

And thou, pray not for this people, and intercede not for them in supplication and prayer: for I will not hear in the day in which they call upon me, in the day of their affliction.
