For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes and in your days, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride.

For¹ thus¹ saithª° the LORDª of hosts,ª the Godª of Israel;ª Behold,¹ I will cause to ceaseª° out of¹ this¹ placeª in your eyes,ª and in your days,ª the voiceª of mirth,ª and the voiceª of gladness,ª the voiceª of the bridegroom,ª and the voiceª of the bride.ª
