For thus saith Jehovah touching Shallum the son of Josiah, king of Judah, who reigned instead of Josiah his father, [and] who went forth out of this place: He shall not return thither any more.

For¹ thus¹ saithª° the LORDª touchingª Shallumª the sonª of Josiahª kingª of Judah,ª which reignedª° instead¹ of Josiahª his father,ª which¹ went forthª° out of¹ this¹ place;ª He shall not¹ returnª° thither¹ any more:¹

For¹ thus¹ saithª° the LORDª touchingª Shallum,ª the sonneª of Iosiahª kingª of Iudahª which reignedª° in stead¹ of Iosiahª his father,ª which¹ went forthª° out of¹ this¹ place,ª He shall not¹ returneª° thither¹ any more.¹

For thus saith the Lord concerning Shallum{gr.Sellem} the son of Josiah{gr.Josias}, who reigns in the place of Josiah{gr.Josias} his father, who has gone forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more:
