Now at that time the king of Babylon's army was besieging Jerusalem; and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the guard, which was in the king of Judah's house.

For then¹ the kingª of Babylon'sª armyª besiegedª°¹ Jerusalem:ª and Jeremiahª the prophetª was¹ shut upª° in the courtª of the prison,ª which¹ [was] in the kingª of Judah'sª house.ª

And the host of the king of Babylon had made a rampart against Jerusalem: and Jeremiah{gr.Jeremias} was kept in the court of the prison, which is in the king's house;

For then¹ the kingª of Bävel's בָּבֶלª armyª besiegedª°¹ Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם:ª and Yirmæyà יִרמְיָהª the prophetª was¹ shut upª° in the courtª of the prison,ª which¹ [was] in the kingª of Yæhûđà's יְהוּדָהª house.ª
