Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I am not falling away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him; so Irijah laid hold on Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.

Then saidª° Jeremiah,ª [It is] false;ª I fall¹ not¹ away²° to¹ the Chaldeans.ª But he hearkenedª° not¹ to¹ him: so Irijahª tookª° Jeremiah,ª and broughtª° him to¹ the princes.ª

Then saidª° Ieremiah,ª It [is] false,ª I fall¹ not¹ away²° to¹ the Caldeans:ª but he hearkenedª° not¹ to¹ him: so Irijahª tookeª° Ieremiah,ª and broughtª° him to¹ the princes.ª

And he said, [It is] false; I do not flee to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him; and Zeruiah{gr.Saruia} caught Jeremiah{gr.Jeremias}, and brought him to the princes.

Then saidª° Yirmæyà יִרמְיָה,ª [It is] false;ª I fall¹ not¹ away²° to¹ the Caŝdîm כַּשׂדִּים.ª But he hearkenedª° not¹ to¹ him: so Yir´iyyäyh יִראִיָּיהª tookª° Yirmæyà יִרמְיָה,ª and broughtª° him to¹ the princes.ª
