Then Zedekiah the king commanded, and they committed Jeremiah into the court of the guard; and they gave him daily a loaf of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city was spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.

Then Zedekiahª the kingª commandedª° that they should commitª°¹ Jeremiahª into the courtª of the prison,ª and that they should giveª° him dailyª a pieceª of breadª out of the bakers'ª° street,ª¹ until¹ all¹ the breadª in¹ the cityª were spent.ª° Thus Jeremiahª remainedª° in the courtª of the prison.ª

Then the king commanded, and they cast him into the prison, and gave him a loaf a day out of the place where they bake, until the bread failed out of the city. So Jeremiah{gr.Jeremias} continued in the court of the prison.

Then Xiđkiyyà צִדקִיָּהª the kingª commandedª° that they should commitª°¹ Yirmæyà יִרמְיָהª into the courtª of the prison,ª and that they should giveª° him dailyª a pieceª of breadª out of the bakers'ª° street,ª¹ until¹ all¹ the breadª in¹ the cityª were spent.ª° Thus Yirmæyà יִרמְיָהª remainedª° in the courtª of the prison.ª
