Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of hosts, the God of Israel: If thou wilt go forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thy house.

Then saidª° Jeremiahª unto¹ Zedekiah,ª Thus¹ saithª° the LORD,ª the Godª of hosts,ª the Godª of Israel;ª If¹ thou wilt assuredly²° go forthª° unto¹ the kingª of Babylon'sª princes,ª then thy soulª shall live,ª° and this¹ cityª shall not¹ be burnedª° with fire;ª and thou¹ shalt live,ª° and thine house:ª

And Jeremiah{gr.Jeremias} said to him, Thus saith the Lord; If thou wilt indeed go forth to the captains of the king of Babylon, thy soul shall live, and this city shall certainly not be burnt with fire; and thou shalt live, and thy house.

Then saidª° Yirmæyà יִרמְיָהª unto¹ Xiđkiyyà צִדקִיָּה,ª Thus¹ saithª° Yähwè יָהוֶה,ª the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª Xævä´ôŧ צְבָאוֹת,ª the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל;ª If¹ thou wilt assuredly²° go forthª° unto¹ the kingª of Bävel's בָּבֶלª princes,ª then thy soulª shall live,ª° and this¹ cityª shall not¹ be burnedª° with fire;ª and thou¹ shalt live,ª° and thine house:ª
