Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord Jehovah, and thou becamest mine.

Now when I passedª° by¹ thee, and looked²° upon¹ thee, behold,¹ thy timeª [was] the timeª of love;ª and I spreadª° my skirtª over¹ thee, and coveredª° thy nakedness:ª yea, I swareª° unto thee, and enteredª° into a covenantª with¹ thee, saithª° the Lordª GOD,ª and thou becamest¹ mine.

Now when I passedª° by¹ thee, and looked²° vpon¹ thee, behold,¹ thy timeª [was] the timeª of loue,ª and I spreadª° my skirtª ouer¹ thee, and coueredª° thy nakednesse:ª yea, I swareª° vnto thee, and entredª° into a couenantª with¹ thee, saythª° the Lordª GOD,ª and thou becamest¹ mine.

And I passed by thee and saw thee, and, behold, [it was] thy time and a time of resting; and I spread my wings over thee, and covered thy shame, and swear to thee: and I entered into covenant with thee, saith the Lord, and thou becamest mine.
