and say, What was thy mother? A lioness: she couched among lions, in the midst of the young lions she nourished her whelps.

And say,ª° What¹ [is] thy mother?ª a lyonesse:ª shee lay downeª° among¹ lions,ª she nourishedª° her whelpesª amongª yong lions.ª

and say, Why is thy mother become a whelp in the midst of lions? in the midst of lions she has multiplied her whelps.
