Wherefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city, to the caldron whose rust is therein, and whose rust is not gone out of it! take out of it piece after piece; No lot is fallen upon it.

Wherefore¹ thus¹ saithª° the Lordª GOD;ª Woeª to the bloodyª city,ª to the potª whose¹ scumª [is] therein, and whose scumª is not¹ gone outª° of¹ it! bring it outª° pieceª by piece;ª let no¹ lotª fallª° upon¹ it.

Therefore thus saith the Lord; O bloody city, the caldron in which there is scum, and the scum has not gone out of, she has brought it forth piece by piece, no lot has fallen upon it.
