And through his policy he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and in [their] security shall he destroy many: he shall also stand up against the prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

And through¹ his policyª also he shall cause craftª to prosperª° in his hand;ª and he shall magnifyª° [himself] in his heart,ª and by peaceª shall destroyª° many:ª he shall also stand upª° against¹ the Princeª of princes;ª but he shall be brokenª° withoutª hand.ª

And the yoke of his chain shall prosper: [there is] craft in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by craft shall destroy many, and he shall stand up for the destruction of many, and shall crush them as eggs in his hand.
