And Jehovah God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shade over his head, to deliver him from his evil case. So Jonah was exceeding glad because of the gourd.

And the LORDª Godª preparedª° a gourd,ª and made [it] to come upª° over¹¹ Jonah,ª that it might be¹ a shadowª over¹ his head,ª to deliverª° him from his grief.ª¹ So Jonahª was¹ exceeding²² glad²°¹¹ of¹ the gourd.ª

And the Lord God commanded a gourd, and it came up over the head of Jonah{gr.Jonas}, to be a shadow over his head, to shade him from his calamities: and Jonah{gr.Jonas} rejoiced with great joy for the gourd.
