Thus saith Jehovah concerning the prophets that make my people to err; that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and whoso putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him:

Thus¹ saithª° the LORDª concerning¹ the prophetsª that make¹ my peopleª err,ª° that biteª° with their teeth,ª and cry,ª° Peace;ª and he that¹ puttethª° not¹ into¹ their mouths,ª they even prepareª° warª against¹ him.

Thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that lead my people astray, that bit with their teeth, and proclaim peace to them; and [when] nothing was put into their mouth, they raised up war against them:

Thus¹ saithª° Yähwè יָהוֶהª concerning¹ the prophetsª that make¹ my peopleª err,ª° that biteª° with their teeth,ª and cry,ª° Peace;ª and he that¹ puttethª° not¹ into¹ their mouths,ª they even prepareª° warª against¹ him.
