While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

While heª spakeª° these thingsª unto them,ª behold,ª° there cameª° a certainª ruler,ª and¹ worshippedª° him,ª saying,ª°² Myª daughterª is even now² dead:ª°¹ butª comeª° and¹ layª° thyª handª uponª her,ª andª she shall live.ª°

While heeª spakeª° these thingsª vnto them,ª beholde,ª° there cameª° a certaineª rulerª and¹ worshippedª° him,ª saying,ª°² Myª daughterª is euen now² dead:ª°¹ butª come,ª° and¹ layª° thyª handª vponª her,ª andª she shall liue.ª°

WHILE he spake these words with them, a certain chief came, drew near, worshipped him, and said, My daughter is now dead; but come, lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live!

And while he was thus discoursing with them a certain ruler came, drew near, worshipped him and said: My daughter is already dead, but come lay thy hand upon her, and she will live.

Ταῦτα αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος αὐτοῖς ἰδοὺ ἄρχων [εἷς] προσελθὼν προσεκύνει αὐτῷ λέγων ὅτι Ἡ θυγάτηρ μου ἄρτι ἐτελεύτησεν: ἀλλὰ ἐλθὼν ἐπίθες τὴν χεῖρά σου ἐπ' αὐτήν, καὶ ζήσεται.

To-the-ones-these of-it of-speaking-unto unto-them, thou-should-have-had-seen, a-firsting [one] having-had-came-toward it-was-kissing-toward-unto unto-it forthing to-which-a-one, The-one a-daughter of-me unto-adjusted it-finished-of-unto, other having-had-came thou-should-have-had-placed-upon to-the-one to-a-hand of-thee upon to-it and it-shall-life-unto.
