And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

He replied and said to them, Because unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of heaven, but unto them it is not given.

ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν ὅτι Ὑμῖν δέδοται γνῶναι τὰ μυστήρια τῆς βασιλείας τῶν οὐρανῶν, ἐκείνοις δὲ οὐ δέδοται.
