But he saith, Nay; lest haply while ye gather up the tares, ye root up the wheat with them.

Butª he¹ said,ª° Nay;ª lestª while ye gather upª° the¹ tares,ª ye root upª° also the¹ wheatª withª them.ª

Butª he¹ said,ª° Nay:ª lestª while yee gather vpª° the¹ tares,ª ye root vpª° also the¹ wheatª withª them.ª

But he said to them, (No,) lest, when ye gather the zizania, you root out with them the wheat also.

And he said to them, [No,] lest, while ye gather out the tares, ye also eradicate the wheat with them.

ὁ δέ φησιν Οὔ, μή ποτε συλλέγοντες τὰ ζιζάνια ἐκριζώσητε ἅμα αὐτοῖς τὸν σῖτον:

The-one moreover it-declareth, Not, lest whither-also forthing-together to-the-ones to-tares ye-might-have-en-rooted-out along unto-them to-the-one to-a-grain;
