and said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore do these powers work in him.

Andª saidª° unto his²¹ servants,ª Thisª isª° Johnª the¹ Baptist;ª heª is risenª° fromª the¹ dead;ª andª thereforeªª mighty worksª do shew forth¹ themselves²° inª him.ª

and he said to his servants, This is Juchanon the Baptizer: he hath risen from the house of the dead, therefore powerful works are wrought by him.

καὶ εἶπεν τοῖς παισὶν αὐτοῦ Οὗτός ἐστιν Ἰωάνης ὁ βαπτιστής: αὐτὸς ἠγέρθη ἀπὸ τῶν νεκρῶν, καὶ διὰ τοῦτο αἱ δυνάμεις ἐνεργοῦσιν ἐν αὐτῷ.
