Now when Jesus heard [it], he withdrew from thence in a boat, to a desert place apart: and when the multitudes heard [thereof], they followed him on foot from the cities.

Whenª Jesusª heardª° [of it], he departedª° thenceª byª shipª intoª a desertª placeª apart:ªª andª when the¹ peopleª had heardª° [thereof], they followedª° himª on footª out ofª the¹ cities.ª

Then Jeshu, when he heard, removed from thence by ship to a desert place by himself; and when the multitude heard it, they came after him on dry land from the cities.

And Jesus, when he had heard [it], retired alone, in a ship, to a desert place. And when the multitudes heard [of it], they followed him by dry land from the cities.

Ἀκούσας δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἀνεχώρησεν ἐκεῖθεν ἐν πλοίῳ εἰς ἔρημον τόπον κατ' ἰδίαν: καὶ ἀκούσαντες οἱ ὄχλοι ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ πεζῇ ἀπὸ τῶν πόλεων.

Having-heard moreover, the-one an-Iesous, it-spaced-up-unto thither-from in unto-a-floatlet into to-solituded to-an-occasion down to-private-belonged; and having-heard, the-ones crowds, they-pathed-along-unto unto-it unto-afoot off of-the-ones of-cities.
