And when the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

And when the chief priests and Pharishee heard his comparisons, they knew that concerning themselves he had spoken.

And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his similitudes, they understood that he spoke in reference to them.

Καὶ ἀκούσαντες οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι τὰς παραβολὰς αὐτοῦ ἔγνωσαν ὅτι περὶ αὐτῶν λέγει:

And having-heard, the-ones first-sacreders-of and the-ones Faris-belonged, to-the-ones to-castings-beside of-it, they-had-acquainted to-which-a-one about of-them it-fortheth;
