Woe unto you, ye blind guides, that say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor.

Woeª unto you,ª [ye] blindª guides,ª which² say,ª° Whosoeverªª shall swearª° byª the¹ temple,ª it isª° nothing;ª butª whosoeverªª shall swearª° byª the¹ goldª of the¹ temple,ª he is a debtor!ª°

Woeª vnto you,ª yee blindª guides,ª which² say,ª° Whosoeuerªª shall sweareª° byª the¹ Temple,ª it isª° nothing:ª butª whosoeuerªª shal sweareª° byª the¹ goldª of the¹ Temple,ª he is a debter.ª°

Woe to you, ye blind guides, who say, That [to him] who sweareth by the temple, it is nothing; but if he swear by the gold which is in the temple, he is liable!

Woe to you, ye blind guides: for ye say, Whoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever shall swear by the gold that is in the temple, he is holden.

Οὐαὶ ὑμῖν, ὁδηγοὶ τυφλοὶ οἱ λέγοντες Ὃς ἂν ὀμόσῃ ἐν τῷ ναῷ, οὐδέν ἐστιν, ὃς δ' ἂν ὀμόσῃ ἐν τῷ χρυσῷ τοῦ ναοῦ ὀφείλει:

A-woe unto-ye, Way-leaders Blind, the-ones forthing, Which ever it-might-have-oathed in unto-the-one unto-a-temple, not-moreover-one it-be, which moreover ever it-might-have-oathed in unto-the-one unto-a-gold of-the-one of-a-temple, it-debteth;
