For as the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen even unto the west; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.

As the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen unto the west, so shall be the advent of the Son of man.

As the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth unto the west, so will be the coming of the Son of man.

ὥσπερ γὰρ ἡ ἀστραπὴ ἐξέρχεται ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν καὶ φαίνεται ἕως δυσμῶν, οὕτως ἔσται ἡ παρουσία τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου:

As-very therefore the-one a-gleaming-along it-cometh-out off of-finishings-up and it-manifesteth unto-if-which of-sinkeeings, unto-the-one-this it-shall-be the-one a-being-beside-unto of-the-one of-a-Son of-the-one of-a-mankind;
