And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, that they that would pass from hence to you may not be able, and that none may cross over from thence to us.

Andª besideª allª this,ª betweenª usª andª youª there is²° a greatª gulfª fixed:ª° so thatª they which wouldª° passª° from henceª toª youª cannot;ªª° neitherª can they passª° toª us,ª that [would come] from thence.ª

And with all these, there is a great void set between us and you, that they who would pass from hence unto you are not able, nor they also who would pass from thence to us.

And with all these, there is a great barrier between us and you; so that they who would pass from here to you, cannot; neither [can they] pass from there to us

καὶ ἐν πᾶσι τούτοις μεταξὺ ἡμῶν καὶ ὑμῶν χάσμα μέγα ἐστήρικται, ὅπως οἱ θέλοντες διαβῆναι ἔνθεν πρὸς ὑμᾶς μὴ δύνωνται, μηδὲ ἐκεῖθεν πρὸς ἡμᾶς διαπερῶσιν.

And in unto-all unto-the-ones-these with-together of-us and of-ye a-gaping-to great it-had-come-to-be-stablished-to, unto-which-whither the-ones determining to-have-had-stepped-through in-from toward to-ye lest they-might-able, lest-moreover thither-from toward to-us they-might-through-across-unto.
