And I knew him not; but that he should be made manifest to Israel, for this cause came I baptizing in water.

And Iª knewª° himª not:ª butª thatª he should be made manifestª° to Israel,ª thereforeªª am²° Iª comeª° baptizingª° withª water.ª

And I knew him not, but that he should be made known unto Isroel, therefore have I come with waters to baptize.

κἀγὼ οὐκ ᾔδειν αὐτόν, ἀλλ' ἵνα φανερωθῇ τῷ Ἰσραὴλ διὰ τοῦτο ἦλθον ἐγὼ ἐν ὕδατι βαπτίζων.

And-I not I-had-come-to-have-seen to-it, other so it-might-have-been-en-manifested unto-the-one unto-an-Israel, through to-the-one-this I-had-came I in unto-a-water immersing-to.
