When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought [him] that he would come down, and heal his son; for he was at the point of death.

When heª heardª° thatª Jesusª was comeª° out ofª Judaeaª intoª Galilee,ª he wentª° untoª him,ª andª besoughtª° himª thatª he would come down,ª° andª healª° hisª son:ª forª he was at the point²° of death.ª°¹

This (man) heard that Jeshu had come from Jihuda into Galila; and he came to him, and besought him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was near to die.

οὗτος ἀκούσας ὅτι Ἰησοῦς ἥκει ἐκ τῆς Ἰουδαίας εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν ἀπῆλθεν πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ ἠρώτα ἵνα καταβῇ καὶ ἰάσηται αὐτοῦ τὸν υἱόν, ἤμελλεν γὰρ ἀποθνήσκειν.

The-one-this having-heard to-which-a-one an-Iesous it-arriveth out of-the-one of-an-Ioudaia into to-the-one to-a-Galilaia it-had-came-off toward to-it and it-was-entreating-unto so it-might-have-had-stepped-down and it-might-have-cured-unto of-it to-the-one to-a-son; it-was-impending therefore to-die-off.
