When Jesus saw him lying, and knew that he had been now a long time [in that case], he saith unto him, Wouldest thou be made whole?

When Jesusª sawª° himª lie,ª° andª knewª° thatª he had beenª° nowª a longª timeª [in that case], he saithª° unto him,ª Wilt¹ thou²° be madeª° whole?ª

When Iesusª sawª° himª lie,ª° &ª knewª° thatª hee had beeneª° nowª a longª timeª in that case, he saythª° vnto him,ª Wilt¹ thou²° be madeª° whole?ª

Jeshu saw this (man) as he lay, and knew that for a long time he had (been thus), and said to him, Art thou willing to be healed?

Jesus saw him lying, and knew that [his disease] had been a long time upon him, and said to him: Desirest thou to be healed?

τοῦτον ἰδὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς κατακείμενον, καὶ γνοὺς ὅτι πολὺν ἤδη χρόνον ἔχει, λέγει αὐτῷ Θέλεις ὑγιὴς γενέσθαι;

to-the-one-this having-had-seen, the-one a-Iesous, to-situating-down, and having-had-acquainted to-which-a-one to-much which-then to-an-interim it-holdeth, it-fortheth unto-it, Thou-determine healthed to-have-had-became?
