They said therefore unto him, What then doest thou for a sign, that we may see, and believe thee? what workest thou?

They saidª° thereforeª unto him,ª Whatª signª shewestª° thouª then,ª thatª we may see,ª° andª believeª° thee?ª whatª dost thou work?ª°

THEY say to him, What sign doest thou that we may see, and believe in thee? What performest thou?

εἶπον οὖν αὐτῷ Τί οὖν ποιεῖς σὺ σημεῖον, ἵνα ἴδωμεν καὶ πιστεύσωμέν σοι; τί ἐργάζῃ;

They-had-said accordingly unto-it, To-what-one accordingly thou-do-unto, thou, to-a-signlet-of, so we-might-have-had-seen and we-might-have-trusted-of unto-thee? To-what-one thou-work-to?
