No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.

No manª takethª° itª fromª me,ª butª Iª lay²° it² downª°¹ ofª myself.ª I haveª° powerª to lay²° it² down,ª°¹ andª I haveª° powerª to takeª° itª again.ª Thisª commandmentª have I receivedª° ofª myª Father.ª

οὐδεὶς ἤρεν αὐτὴν ἀπ' ἐμοῦ, ἀλλ' ἐγὼ τίθημι αὐτὴν ἀπ' ἐμαυτοῦ. ἐξουσίαν ἔχω θεῖναι αὐτήν, καὶ ἐξουσίαν ἔχω πάλιν λαβεῖν αὐτήν: ταύτην τὴν ἐντολὴν ἔλαβον παρὰ τοῦ πατρός μου.
