If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no excuse for their sin.

If I had not come and spoken with them, they had not had sin; but now have they no pretext for their sins.

Εἰ μὴ ἦλθον καὶ ἐλάλησα αὐτοῖς, ἁμαρτίαν οὐκ εἴχοσαν: νῦν δὲ πρόφασιν οὐκ ἔχουσιν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν.

If lest I-had-came and I-spoke-unto unto-them, to-an-un-adjusting-along-unto not they-were-holding; now moreover to-a-manifesting-before not they-hold about of-the-one of-an-un-adjusting-along-unto of-them.
