And when he had said this, one of the officers standing by struck Jesus with his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?

Andª when heª had²° thusª spoken,ª° oneª of the¹ officersª which stood by²°¹ struck²²° Jesus² with the palm of his hand,ªª°¹ saying,ª° Answerest¹ thou²° the¹ high priestª so?ª

And as these (words) he spake, one of the officers who stood (by) struck Jeshu upon his cheek, and said to him, Thus givest thou the answer to the chief of the priests?

And as he said these things, one of the officials standing by, smote the cheek of Jesus, and said to him: Givest thou such an answer to the high priest?

ταῦτα δὲ αὐτοῦ εἰπόντος εἷς παρεστηκὼς τῶν ὑπηρετῶν ἔδωκεν ῥάπισμα τῷ Ἰησοῦ εἰπών Οὕτως ἀποκρίνῃ τῷ ἀρχιερεῖ;

To-the-ones-these moreover of-it of-having-had-said one having-had-come-to-stand-beside of-the-ones of-under-rowers it-gave to-a-slapping-to unto-the-one unto-an-Iesous having-had-said, Unto-the-one-this thou-separate-off unto-the-one unto-a-first-sacreder-of?
