and they came unto him, and said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they struck him with their hands.

Andª said,ª° Hail,ª° Kingª of the¹ Jews!ª andª they smote²° him² with their hands.ª¹¹

Andª said,ª° Haileª° kingª of the¹ Iewes:ª andª they smote²° him² with their hands.ª¹¹

and said, Hail to thee, King of the Jihudoyee! and struck him upon his cheeks.

and they said: Hail, king of the Jews! and smote him on his cheeks.

καὶ ἤρχοντο πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ ἔλεγον Χαῖρε ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων: καὶ ἐδίδοσαν αὐτῷ ῥαπίσματα.

And they-were-coming toward to-it and they-were-forthing, Thou-should-joy, the-one a-ruler-of of-the-ones of-Iouda-belonged; and they-were-giving unto-it to-slappings-to.
